Turquoise floral oilcloth zipper bag
This cute little bag is made from a cut of oilcloth where I make sure there's a large part of the bouquet showing! "Fussy cutting" is when you cut a specific part of a pattern on fabric (or vinyl)- it's pretty much like it sounds. Fussy. But I like to show the best of the patterns. This one is so cheerful.
The front oilcloth is backed with another layer of oilcloth for added heft.
I attached a little loop on the side that can be used to clip to a backpack, purse, or whatever you can clip things to- or to slip your thumb through if you're carrying it as a small clutch and want a more secure grasp in your hand.
The design is very simple- there's no lining so the seams inside show. This allows for a roomier inside than the old way I used to do it.
The zipper top opens 6 1/2 inches, the bag is 5 inches tall and 7.5 inches long. The construction is flat. Handwash if needed, iron front carefully- using a cloth inside to keep it away from the back vinyl.
